This is my favorite book~ apart from The Bible...but it's easier to read and understand, with Bible verses after the daily message to aid those who choose to dive deeper into the Word. I got mine from my sister while going through difficult times. Since then, I have bought 7 or 8 as gifts! There is always someone that is struggling with health, marriage, financial problems, family relationships, drugs, alcohol, so many things. This book is so amazing, it fits the bill for any issue, lending the HOPE that we all need. GOD IS ALWAYS PRESENT, TRUST IN HIM! I love the fact that it only takes a minute or two to read each day, and it's not too "over-the-top" for people that aren't quite committed to The Lord. But, it's enough to "gently" open the door to His loving hand. I can't stress enough how much you, or anyone, will ADORE this awesome book! The author, Sarah Young, is obviously extremely gifted. Although the same content that is in the leather bound version is in the hard cover version, my wife and I have been giving the leather back version to people and the reaction is WOW! The sense of quality from the look and touch opens the senses to this is not just another devotional. The look is the bait but the content brings people to a sense of intimacy with God. We have been able to get some great buys on Ebay for brand new leather back books, and we will continue to as long as it seems good to the Holy Ghost and us.
