it works perfect for my goldfish pond. It fit the connections snugly on the palm and scammer box. I found from experience, to keep it out of the direct sun light will because it to become stiff and brittle.

TetraPond say it is 1" ID (interior diameter). It is not 1" ID. It is OD (outside diameter). This product will not fit 1" PVC pipe because its ID is smaller than 1". When you have plumping exactly 1", this product will not fit; it will frustrate you. I have to warm it up in order to fit to 1" PVC pipe. I really hope TetraPond gets their brain together and list its product accurately. I was cheap and want to save $3. TetraPond 1" was $3 cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes but HD and Lowes is actual 1" ID (TetraPond is 1" OD but list as 1" ID that does not fit 1" PVC). I am disappointed because TetraPond mislabel their tube.
