This unit is awesome! It pulls a ton of heat and is perfect for 500 square feet of space which is what 1 ton is good for. The unit looks really nice and I love that it doesn’t have an inverter! The condensing unit is good old hard start. The unit inside just uses different motor windings to adjust the speed. I did make some changes to the wiring of this unit but that wasn’t too difficult. BEWARE!!! It only displays and reads in Celsius! It does its job but it is a minor inconvenience

    Good mini split AC only unit

    Good Mini Split AC only unit (no inverter or heat pump). This is one of the lowest priced units in the market and there are no frills just a basic unit which fit my budget. So far (going on 2 weeks) the unit is running great and does a good job cooling down an uninsulated 18 x 20 garage. Also keep in mind that the unit is a Celsius based unit. The unit can't display Fahrenheit temperature on the inside head unit or the handheld remote. The sellers do not disclose this in the listing for the product. I have encouraged them to add this info so others will be aware and not be surprised after installation as I was. I would not have purchased this particular unit if I had known this fact (Celsius is very confusing for those of us in the United States). Relative to the installation, it went ...
