This is a good PA speaker. The mic works acceptably, good for just about any occasion that you would use this speaker for, though I had a wired mic that sounds better. The amplifier is acceptable - about like you would expect in a budget stereo. It has excellent high and mid response and clarity - plenty loud for just about any smallish event inside or out. Distortion levels are tolerable. The base response is not that great, but you don't really need that for PA or instrument use. The radio and music sounds good - like you have heard if you have ever heard music from a PA system - biased toward mid and highs. Also, you can record to a microSD card but it only records the channel that it is on - no mixing of channels like mic and radio. Overall I would rate this a great value.

I needed something for my daughter's cheer team to use for rehearsals and in the gym performances. I've been a professional sound engineer for 30 years. They didn't want to spend a lot of money.. so.. this thing has a ton of features. 1. It has a full mixing panel on the back with two mic inputs plus a guitar input plus a line iPod type input. Bass, treble controls plus separate bass /treble for the wireless microphone. 2. It has built-in FM radio. 3. It has very good Bluetooth connectivity... it has a female voice that speaks each time you change from one mode to another to help guide you through it. 3. it has a wireless microphone that while is not the best in the world it is far from being just a toy.. it's actually a pretty decent microphone if you don't get too close to it. ....the icing on the cake is that it has a rechargeable battery which means they don't even have to run an AC cable out on the gym floor for it or to use on a patio. .... it also has a 12-volt DC connector with a supplied cable if you wanted to hook it up to your car battery or 12-volt battery source. ( useful for the cheer team when they do their parades) The 12 inch speaker and the built-in treble horn tweeter do the job.. it's not going to play subwoofer style bass if you're trying to expect it to be useful for rap or hip-hop but for any other normal kind of music it does a great job. ...has Echo feature if you wanted to use it for karaoke ...it even records performances onto SD stick or memory card . It can also store and play your music from the SD card or the memory card, if you didn't want to use a Bluetooth phone. It is actually full-featured enough that a musician could take it into a coffee house or wine bar and use it with a guitar and actually sing with the wireless microphone provided and not be embarrassed. ....the most astounding thing is that it's only $96... I can't even imagine how they put all these features into this device and sell it for $96. The big question of course is the reliability and that remains to be seen as we've only had it for a short while. I'm going to buy another one and probably recommend it to a lot of my friends who want decent patio sounding gear without spending a fortune on it. The cabinet looks very modern, and the metal grill, and all else seems made very quality made. Its loud. Awesome for the price.Read full review

I bought the 12" version. I am a broadcast engineer and a sound engineer. I used to design and build nightclubs. While this is NOT designed for that kind of loudness or abuse, it is decent sounding. The music played through it sounds good. The microphone can easily be used for a PA system. It sounds crisp and clear. I tried the line in and it worked well with a cellphone. I tried both a USB thumbdrive and TF card and both worked fine. The manual and most reviews say it only plays MP3, but I am playing WMA files with it as well (sampling rate 192k). The bass is not driving but appreciable, doesn't sound bad at all. I am using it as a portable music source for my pool and patio. I am pleased with what I got for the price! I recommend it if you have events where you need a PA or music source or for my type application, outside entertainment. It is lightweight. I used it for about 2 hours today on the battery at low to medium volume. It's 4.5 amp, so I'm guessing it could run for 5 hours or so at that level. Lightweight, easy to handle. Overall, a super buy!Read full review

I use it almost daily, I have my iPod connected via Bluetooth and I listen to the music, great sound. Also quite loud. It does have a hum but it’s over come by turning up the vol. I would leave it on 24/7 but the hum is annoying when there is no music. I have left it on for days at a time just for background music. The microphone works well, it’s an ideal PA system on the cheap. I haven’t tried all the features but love what I have.

Instruction book a bit lacking. Mic inputs don't say but I think are Hi impedance. Battery lasted much longer that I expected. Wireless Mic sounded pretty good but doesn't have a stand clip. Bass pretty good for a portable unit. Very light. I couldn't get Blue tooth to "talk" to 2 units at once but with line out of one to line in of the other solved that issue. I didn't know a 15" model was available, I may have gone with that one or a 15 and a 12.
