This speaker is over value compare to performance. The sound near audiophile the treble is very clear and excellence sound stage. you can hear each instrument so clearly. Bass is sufficient for Acoustic, Pop, Jazz or music lover style but if you is a bass lover and love Techno-pop(Syntactic bass), R&B, Rock or HipHop you may mislead to this speaker because they can not respond to deep base. Why i give 4 out of 5 because i have expect them delivery to R&B music that i love. It do great in Jazz or vocal that no deep bass. I have a B&W Zeppelin Air and compare them in the same music. The result B&W fail to Bose M2 in sound stage and very clear treble sound but M2 failed to B&W Air in term of warm sound, rich bass. An another aspect that i can notice. This speaker is a very Monitor. Some music that record in very crap quality or low bit rate file like 128kpbs lower, M2 will let you hear the low quality of your file music (bass is cracking, mid sound is rough and treble is unclear). I have compared to B&W Z Air in the same music file, its merely unnoticeable of low quality of music file like when you play on Bose M2. Many people recorded me to use a DAC in order to improve the quality of sound like Nuforce uDAC2. (Becasue B&W Z Air equipped both DAC and DSP itself, so the quality f sound must better than Bose M2 when compare) If you looking for small, looking good and love Jazz, Pop music (not bass lover) Bose M2 is your a cleaver choice.Read full review
These speakers come with a travel case, how cool it that. I brought them to a friends home, hooked them right up. Very user friendly. I love the sound, easy to hook up and I love that they come in black. All in all a great value. You can't go wrong with Bose!

This is a speaker who's small footprint surprises. Note: the size of room and contents within makes a difference. The bass produces is punchy and clear without any muddiness. Highs are clear. They have to be heard to be appreciated. Excellent for Classical,Jazz, Easy Listening,Vocal and Acoustic music.Highly recommend them!

THEY ARE TRUELY AUDIOPHILE QUALITY LACKING ONLY IN DEEP BASE CHARACTERISTIC OF A SUB WOOFER. MY OPIONION IS THEY OUT PERFORM THE BOSE "SOLO TV" .
