I bought this book for my Environmental Geology class and have found it to be a really text book. It is easy to understand and includes plenty of diagrams and pictures for those of us who are visual learners.
plenty of pictures for examples and good info, but there are cheaper books with the same info. though i do think this is probably one of the better layouts you will find
This is a very complete text book for anyone interested in Geology! This book travels with me so when I visit the National Parks or other geological points of interest, I can get an idea of what I am looking at.
i had to have it for class..eh.it has all the stuff i needed and it was loads cheaper than the school bookstore...
Book has good pictures with detailed information. Really helps to better understand the topics and concepts of geology
