I ordered book on 06/11/11 and received on 06/13/11. This book is everything that you will need for your nutrition course and to guide you to healthy eating habits. It can contribute to helping you live a good life with the right way to eat foods that help you to live longer. You have to want to look inside this book and see what it offers to your for your health. This book has all of the basic information and more about foods and the food groups that they belong too. I would encourage anyone to take the challenge to look in this book and read what it says about the fod we eat. very informative.
I bought this for a class I am taking at a local university. I like this book because it is readable; not hard to understand. At the end of every chapter is a summary and questions to review. That is helpful to me as a student. I dislike how heavy this book is. I lift weights with a personal trainer but this book is the most heavy of any book in my life. Good content though!
I love this books layout. In the margins they print key words and definitions. This is a very concise yet fun read. A must have. You will want to keep it forever and tell friends about the things it teaches about nutrition.
This is a great book. I needed this for a Nutrition Science course but would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about their health.
