It was difficult to tell if I needed the 4" or 6" extension. I'm still not sure. I've only ridden twice since I installed the extension. On the second ride the shift linkage came loose and the shift pedal flipped over my boot at 55 MPH. I got the linkage reconnected but I will need to lock it down better before I ride again. The written directions are not very good so I used the YouTube video to do the install. Overall, the quality of the kit is good.
