Not actually carbon fiber... but looks pretty cool and seems to be similar in quality to the OEM mirror I replaced that snapped off.
Unfortunately eBay makes you choose "yes" or "no" to three questions. 1) Do you recommend it? I said yes because so far--and I just received and installed it--it seems fine. But it is NOT actual carbon fiber... it's just a "wrap" or a carbon fiber looking sticker on a regular black plastic body. So the title and description in the listing are not actually accurate. They SHOULD state that it is not an actual carbon fiber mirror / body... that it is just "carbon look". I think that's intentionally deceptive and dishonest. Question 2) Is it a good value? Again, the mirror seems fine--similar to if not identical to the one that snapped off that I am replacing--but, considering it is not actually carbon fiber--it's hard to say it's a "good value". Certainly cheaper than buying one through a Honda dealer. If it LASTS, I'd call it a good value. We'll see. And, as of today, the carbon wrapped mirror looks way cooler than the more faded factory black one. Enough so that I may order a right one to replace it. My only real gripe as of today is that I was (half) expecting a nice, actual carbon fiber shell on the mirror... not just a wrap / sticker... which I doubt will weather very well / last very long. But we'll see.
