    Excellent Test

Had a power outage today: decayed tree fell on the power lines on a windy day. Bought to run my low wattage refrigerator during power loss.Did a power failure protocol. Hook up was easy. (Used prior bought battery cables). Rear connections make it easy to apply-no screwing with nuts and bolts. Built my own ground wire to install in house ground outlet. Also added color paint-to top of unit-red and black as an added feature. Pushed the switch and plugged it in-started up and ran fine. Just then the power came back on-but allowed refrigerator to run through its cycle. End reading was 12.2 volts @1.5 amps off my new Optima dual deep-cycle 38 ah battery (Maybe an hour outage).

Good Sine Wave and Heat Control with Dangerously Light Factory Cables

I meant to order the EDECOA 1,500 and was carelessly fooled by the look. The unit pulls 12 watts just being on compared to 8 on EDECOA. Automatic thermal fan control works fine but come on at surprisingly low current 250-400 watt load. USB functions even powered down, good sine wave for sensitive electronics. Runs a small AC unit on high all day long with ease pulling 500-550 watts constant, fan goes off and on proving effective cooling. Problem: The cables that come with it are dangerously light and should not be used, unlabeled, they look to be only 8 gauge, 6 max. This is deadly for a 12 volt battery bank . Pulling the rated 1,500 watts through the tiny factory cables will burn you house down eventually, they will melt, you lose a good amount of power to line loss even at low ...

  • Nice little remote control Inverter.

Works well most of the wattage output of any inverter is overstated as this one is. It will run 800 Watts just fine. But will never see 1500 Watts just like any other brand. I like the wireless remote that lets you see your Watts being consumed and your able to turn it off and on with the remote. And that and it being Pure Sine Wave are the two things I was looking for. I just need small amounts of power when the grid is down. Too large of a inverter just drains the battery too much even in standby. So this will do a 600 Btu mini split two led lamps one router and Tv gust time. I did place a 320 watt panel on the battery as not to run it down in the daytime when power is out. And would not use the mini split at night. Just lights Tv and router. I would use my 6000 watt inverter and 4 6 ...

  • Used a big enough 12 volt power cable

When I first hooked it up in my RV I was very disappointed because it wouldn’t power my 700 watt microwave. I read that I should have bought a.more powerful unit for a microwave. (3 times the running wattage so around 2000/4000 watt unit.) My real problem was that I didn’t use a heavy enough power cable and it was too far from my RV battery. When I changed to a 1 gauge cable it would now power my microwave. You must use a pure sine wave inverter for a microwave to run properly. Welding cables work best but aren’t essential.I am very pleased with the unit and the safety features!

  • Full featured pure sine inverter

Second one if these, like that it shows the input and output voltage at the inverter and that the power is pure sine wave. Remote control is a bonus but only shows 1 to 4 lights to indicate battery level there. Runs my microwave or coffee pot with no problem. To soon to see how long they last but the first is going strong after 6 months
