All this watch needs to sustain power, is ambient light! That's it! It's a great watch! Citizen, is my only choice for a great, and stylish watch. It looks great for work, dressing up, or casual wear. The sweeping hands look very classy, and the face, as well! The band is a little stiff, but it becomes more pliant, as you wear it. I highly recommend this watch, for anyone who hates winding watches, or changing watch batteries, as with this watch, no batteries, or winding are needed. I love my watch!

It's not easy to set up. The stem is small and slippery and the day part of the day date window is not very responsive. If you have eyesight issues, please note that the hands are thin and hard to see in poor light. Otherwise, it is a nice watch.

The Citizen BM8240-3E watch features an Eco-Drive battery system for power. I liked the watch because you never have to change batteries (according to the manufacturer). You merely let the watch see a light source about once a week and the battery will stay charged. It also seems to hold the time well. However the primary reason was that it is very handsome dress timepiece. The downside is that you have to remember to expose it to a light source every week and it only provides basic functions as time and date. However this extra features (glow, second hand, more water resistant) may add to the functionality but are not overly necessary for a dress watch. I would not use this watch to go camping. I bought the watch because it was a good price for a quality product for the style of watch I was looking for.Read full review
Very nice watch, especially for this price!!! Easy to set and its an eco-drive which has its stand alone quality but I think it is sleek looking for business or leisure you can't go wrong with this one! Do not be fooled by the 36mm bezel, it still has the quality weight and bulk of a Citizen, without the unneeded 40mm of stainless steel wasted in other frames that in my opinion are overrated. Great looking watch, will not be dissatisfied.

This is a great deal. I wanted another Citizen Eco Drive watch that is more casual. This one strikes a good balance between casual and dress. I honestly don't see myself buying another brand of watch. The Eco Drive watches are great. They absorb any kind of light to power the watch. And they keep perfect time.
