fit my 2017 rebel 500, had to use half of the bracket on the right side because not enough clearance to slide it down enough to line up the hole for the other bolt. youll need a 14mm socket and ratchet, then a 14mm wrench and some small allen/hex bits to install.very happy with how it looks doesnt stick out as far as you think it will its just the perfect amount that doesnt sacrifice looks but offers protection to your leg/bike.if anything i think it makes the bike look better!

    Passable for aftermarket accessory. Bad label.

    Description states new other, It was used. Made it worked. Product is sturdy enough, but could use some improvements. The aim is for the CMX300 and not the 500 as stated in the description. Am betting the translation is off. Mount points are for a smaller engine, the 300. No instructions included, but some common sense was all that's needed. Installation took an hour as the radiator also needed to be loosened. Would I get it again? No. As mentioned it appears it was made for the 300 and not the larger engine of the 500.
