I replace my filters every 6 months for best tasting water and ice. Buying in the stores were expensive and decided to shop online and found this bargain and save $15 on 2! THIS is a genuine Whirlpool "Everydrop" Refrigerator Water Filter that came in the correct packaging, with correct labels on the cartridge itself and fits perfectly to replace the previous "4396841". I ordered a similar from another source that came in a plain box with no labeling and did not fit. This one is the real enchilada!

Everydrop is my usual filter I purchase for our refrigerator. The only issue with our Whirlpool is where the filter is located - at the very bottom of the door, actually under the door. This is very difficult to change and usually takes me about 40 minutes. Most of that time is spent getting down and then getting back up. But back to Everydrop - these are the best filters for our Whirlpool. Wish they were cheaper though!
