Have not yet watched entire set of discs. What I have seen is a significant upgrade from the DVD format although some scenes are grainy. Usually night scenes. Sound is not great and could be better but it is not awful. Tolerable. Item arrived on time and as advertised. I would recommend purchase if you are a fan of the series...

Perhaps just a DVD version of this series would be a better choice... it wasn't filmed with HD cameras anyway, and any surround sound processing has times where it sounds like it's in a barrel. It's a good entertaining show, however, and I would recommend it in that regard.
