Strong good quality.
I bought first the smaller cw303d and i was so impressed how well made it was, so i order up one more but this time the cw453d. The same thing with the 453d it is a super reel comparing to what you pay. - good gear ratio u dont get tired winding up from the depth -good brake and easy to acsess

This reel is just a good step up from the entry level priced counter reels. The drag is a little more consistent and has a little better range. The features are very nice for the money. To get a better reel than this one you have to jump into the next category which nearly doubles the price (the 180 dollar or more category
