The Goddesses of Ys once saved the Kingdom of Ys from a reign of evil. Six magical books were written of their feats and hidden in case they were to be needed again. Now, 1,000 years later, the magical books are needed.<br><br>Dark Dekt is preparing to wreak havoc on the land. Desperate times are here and the Seer Sara needs swordsman to help find the six books of Ys which have vanished. You play the part of Aron, a swordsman who wanders the land seeking adventure. Joining the search you will need to equip yourself with the best weapons and armor that money can buy.<br><br>Search everywhere -- caves, towers -- anywhere the books might be. Find the books, summon the Goddesses of Ys, and defeat Dark Dekt in order to succeed in Ys: The Vanished Omens.

    Great rpg

    Y's is a classic rpg on the sega master system and one you should have in your collection. The combat will take some getting use to but once you under stand it you will have fun. The graphics for an 8bit game are really good and the music is some of the best on the sms. I would say finding a cib version would be a better idea but if you can get a good deal on a cart only go for it.

    Ys, RPG thats done right

    Awesome early RPG game, Music will have you humming if for days, but be prepared to grind a lot to build up your skill level. I cannot re-iterate this enough, there is a lot of grinding to be done in this game. RPG fans this one is a must though, my second favorite RPG on the Master System behind Phantasy Star. On the rarer side of games, so dont miss out on this one.
