Lord of the Sword is a good game for the Sega Master System. You must travel around to different scenes and kill monsters. You are guided by a map that shows where you are traveling. The character must obtain certain items to progress through the game. The gameplay is side scrolling like Zelda II when you are fighting. The graphics and music for its time is good. The game is a few hours long and it would be an excellent game if you they gave you a password or allow you to save. To bad they don't. The controls are not the best and in one scene you have to fight 5 bosses in a row, the gameplay slows down. The distance of your sword is limited, but it is made up by the ability shoot a bow and arrow. If you hate the type of games that up and up forward are your ability to jump around you might wait to pass on this one. Other then those slight downfalls, get ready to play a challeging game. It is pretty hard and a couple of bosses seem all most impossible to beat. You can pick up a copy at auction for under $5.00, and most slores will have it for under $10.00. Pick up your copy today. Regarding " Lord of the Sword " it's a game that came out in the late 80s and is an ok game, I needed the game to compete what I had in my collection already the manual and the box art. Now that I have it completed I can collect it with my library👍

Basically this is similar to some older commodore side scrolling rpgs with great graphics. Kill things go up levels, better items.. you get the idea. Very similar to Link for the SNES as far as the scrolling dungeon levels.
Greatly appreciated!
