Quartet!!! Why is it called Quartet? Well, the arcade version was the first 4 player game ever made to my knowledge. I use to own it. Then I got bored with it and sold it. Two of the characters Edgar and Mary still are in the sega master system version. The international version was called Double Target for the Sega Master System (Pal version). Besides the 4 player differences from the arcade, all the stages are different and Mary is white and Edgar sports a light tan, both have the same type of gun. In the Arcade, Edgar is a very tall and big African with a flame blower and Mary is Indian with a pistol. Why the difference???? Maybe, Americans would not buy a multicultural game. The arcade version was a good game, but did terrible in sales in the US. The international version keeps these two charcters the same as the Arcade did, but the weapons are the same as the US Sega master System version. The games graphics and music (Same as Arcade) are solid for a game sold in the 80's. It is a side scrolling game where, like in the arcade, you have to find a key to open a door to go to the next level. There are bosses, special items, and jet packs. The higher your level, the further you shoot. There is 6 or 7 levels on the sega master system version and in the arcade there in about 35 then it repeats. Over all the game is a good solid game and can bought at auction for about $5.00 and in a store for about $10.00 complete. Thanks, Master Mark S. KanaarRead full review
