About this product

Product Information

Translation to book form of the phenomenally successful Tucker Max website, a collection of anarchic stories detailing the legendary exploits of its eponymous creator. Comprises the complete adventures of Max, more than half of which are not available on his website, including the world-famous sushi pants story'. Unlike a blog, Tucker Max's website contains fully-fledged, edited, well-written and extremely funny stories about his life: a canon here expanded significantly to create a volume reminiscent of an extremely badly-behaved Garrison Keillor.'

  • Critical Reading in Understanding Gender Dynamics

If you were to read this book as a celebration of hedonism, it's moderately amusing and decently written. However, if you really want to learn something about gender psychology, read this book as a text on male motivation and behavior. Read thusly, it is profoundly disturbing, but readable. Max's redemption is the insight he develops on his own behavior, without, of course, demonstrating any really interest in change and only slight interest in growth. This book will probably still be of interest in 200 years, if only as a "true" chronicle of our troubled times. Not recommended for children.

  • Tho I LMAO, I'm glad he's not my son

My daughter borrowed this book from a friend because she was traveling alone and needed something to read at the airport. When she told me she was laughing out loud at some of Tucker's antics I didn't believe her until I borrowed it from her and read it myself. Tucker is a master storyteller. His descriptions make you feel like a fly on the wall, witnessing some of the most unimaginable outrageously gross behavior not resulting in loss of life. And I mean that as a compliment. When was the last time you were reading a book and called someone in order to read a passage? I laughed so hard at the "dueling piano bar" segment, I called my oldest son at work. Having been to a similar bar with him a few years ago, we could relate to the story. I had tears streaming down my face. Tucker is ...

  • Best book ever...

This book is amazing... I truly belive it explains the lives of all real men as they travel on their journey through their college years.. I have had many similar experiences throughout my life with tucker max and it makes the book truly enjoyable as I can connect with it. I am sure many others will have the same experience. Also my girlfriend read this book, as she was the one who recommendwed it to me, and she thoroughly enjoyed it cover to cover... Enjoy it for yourself...

  • This Guy Is Great! What else can I say...

I have now read every article on tuckermax.com and I decided to buy his book. Tucker Max, himself, is hard to describe. The best description would be by him on the back of this book or his myspace page or his facebook page or his website. This guy might be a douche bag to women or whatever but he is nevertheless a magnificent writer. I can't stay away from the pages or his site. The only "complaint" if you will (not a complaint because I could read and have read this stuff over and over) is that some of the stories in the book are on the website already. But it's definitely a great book to add to your collection. I'm nothing like Tucker Max but he does what every guy at least has thought about doing. He says it himself that he's not saying that there aren't other guys doing bigger and ...

  • Satirical writing of real life events.

Tucker Max is the biggest a**h*** is the world. And that's what makes this book so great. The events in this book is something many guys can relate to... but even more would want to be able to relate to. This book is (obviously) not for the easily offended, as a matter of fact it is for the complete opposite. Those who admire a truly repulsive, careless, egotistical, vile human with no regards for anybody but himself, this book is for them. Great for a corner table book for a quick story here and there.
