The debut Lava/Atlantic release from NYC-based Trans-Siberian Orchestra joins top talents from the hard rock world with those from the Broadway musical and classical arenas - combining a 60-piece orchestra and full chorus with the edge of a rock band. The conceptual symphonic rock work is by hard rock producer/songwriter Paul O'Neill, and the recording reinvents O'Neill's previously recorded Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24), which was released last year as a highlight of the conceptual Dead Winter Dead album by Savatage.

    Not Your Traditional Christmas Music

    Not your traditional sound but I LOVE it!!!! Heard the Christmas Eve song on the radio last year. Did not know the name of the song then or the group who did it...After an exhaustive search, my husband thankfully found it!!! All the songs are so energizing & I get goose-pimples when the orchestra plays with such ferocity. My favorite Christmas CD ever!!!!~!

    Not my type of Christmas music.

    Just not my type of Christmas music I would put on to decorate my tree, or especially Christmas morning or day. If your not into Christmas rock, then this C.D. is not for you, not your traditional Christmas music. For me after listening to 3 tracks, out it came.

    I got this in the mail today I listen to it a hour ago it sounds amazing this is my 1st of 7 Trans Siberian Orchestra albums I was very happy to have it be the 1st album was pretty cool & how cheap it was made me wanna buy it even more I can not wait to play it at my guitar lessons in January I am very happy to have it in my collection after waiting 5 years to buy there album it came in amazing & awesome condition & could not believe how fast it came because I ordered it on Sunday it came today it made my day
