Delivered a day earlier than stated. The design of 3rd hand is better than others I have owned in some ways but some individual components such as line, actual aluminum u channel and pick up hook is inferior to Sammons Robbin gripper. That being said it works great and much less expensive.

Good price for what are, in my opinion, the best grabbers out there at an affordable price. They are sturdy and wide enough to pick up full cans & landscape rocks that weigh a couple of pounds, although frequent "rough" use may prematurely distress the grabbers. (I live in Arizona, where life is full of rocks.) They also do well with picking up pieces of paper & tiny pills compared to other grabbers that don't close tightly and precisely enuf. If you can't bend well, these are indispensable.
