I've used two of these 9100s in budget desktop builds in the last month or so using a mix of new and re-purposed parts. The PCs are for my own use at home. Both builds turned out good and the little i3 processors run great. The i3 is very fast & snappy with both Windows and Linux. Even resource-intensive tasks like video rendering are crash-proof. The stock snap-in cooler is perfectly adequate because this CPU doesn't run hot. This CPU is a bargain too. While everyone else is in a shopping frenzy for the pricey AMD Ryzen series, bargain hunters like me are perfectly happy with the cheaper Intel Core series. On-board graphics are better than expected. My plan was to upgrade with a graphics card later but now I'm not so sure. I might just stick with the Intel graphics. 9th generation Intel, low price, low heat, trouble-free performance. What's not to like?Read full review

Good performance and low power consumption at idle, approx 28W with a standard ITX board and vintage Antec 250W PSU. Perfect for my server.
