Item was packaged well and arrived in good condition and as described. Everything looks good with no damaged pins. Haven't been able to test yet as I'm still waiting on my super socket 7 motherboard to arrive, but I can't wait to try this thing out! Would have loved it back in the day! Was running a Celeron 500 back then (that I still actually have) but this processor will be amazing for a large range of old games with how adjustable it's speed is.

Just buy this chip. Using a P5BV3+ Motherboard; Runing 5.5 multiplier 100 FSB 2.0 Volts. Works so awesome. Showing k6-III/600 . From a K6-2/500 to K6-III/600 I will take it. Plus the cache is now 512kb. OMG what a cool thing. Machine DOS 6.22, Win 3.11, Win98, WinXP, WIN2000, Sound Blaster AWE64 ISA 8 MB, MPU-401 (intelligent), MT32, Roland GS, Yamaha XG, Roland Keyboards. GO RETRO!!!

Fantastic news! Glad you love it!! Yes, even my Gigabyte GA-5AX r5.2 and ASUS P5A r1.06 see genuine K6 III+ as a K6 III. But it's really a K6 III+ w/ 256kb cache. Most motherboards just don't report it as such. Great setup you have there! I have very much the same using System Commander 8 :) Long Live Retro!
