    A decent upgrade for your LGA775 motherboard, I don't like handing out 5s

    I bought this to replace an aging E4300 in a slimline system. Personally I think Core 2 chips are expensive but since their older yet perform on par with most Phenom IIs it isn't all bad. The system reacted quicker, but I think it was less because of the CPU than that it removed bottlenecks with the old FSB. The chip is also smaller than any other Core 2 according to Intel and uses the least power (throughout the E7xx line). Getting this CPU is a must if you want better performance from older machines as well as compatability with newer games.

    E7500 Core 2 Duo

    Excellent processor, strong on running multiple applications, runs fairly cool and makes a quiet PC. Great bang for the buck.
