Clean with no marks or scratches
The CPU processor looked like new, clean, and had no signs of being used. It came in a plastic clam shell container where it was set nicely on a static dissipative pad. Because this CPU had no bend pins, it was easy to insert into a socket.

As described but mine running a bit hot
Nice packaging and was easy to install but think it runs a bit hotter than my single core. I even get a message that my fan speed is too low and is running at about 60 degrees C which I think is a bit hot. Working on trying to get it to run about 50 degree C, which I think will be better. Still was an easy install with no bent pins.

I previously had an Athlon64 3200+ Winchester with 1 GB RAM (2x512 MB Adata Vitesta 566 MHz DDR) on an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. It was running at 2260 MHz (default is 2000) at Vcore default, with 1:1 memory ratio. As I recently bought two 1 GB modules (Adata Vitesta 500 MHz), I also decided to upgrade my CPU and went for this one. I immediately tried to overclock it, and now I am using it at 2640 MHz (against 2200 default), with Vcore default. It's rock solid: 23 hours Prime95 torture test, with 58°C maximum and outside temperature of about 30-35°C! It also seems to be limited by RAM, as touching RAM timings lets the PC be unstable. amd 4200+ x2 939 pin
This 4200+x2 CPU replaced an amd 3800+ single chip CPU. It's faster loading and all my games and applications now run much better and smoother. UT runs way faster, and min FPS doesn’t dip as much. This was a no-brainer for me, I didn't want to reload XP and lose my data. This chip just dropped right into the socket and came up. Everything worked like before just faster and smoother. This is a great way to extend the life of a good 939 mother board. This runs like a new machine. Defiantly worth the money! DrBurny111.
