Fit perfectly in my 2005 Volvo XC90! Videos available on the internet if you don't already know how to install. Mine arrived in perfect condition. Only needed to add a little lithium grease and it installed super easy. I think it helps to have the shifter in the neutral position when installing.

Despite this being more than I wanted to spend, it feels good to have a working car again. Volvo wanted to change me around 150-200 for 50 dollars really isn’t bad when comparing the prices. Sure it’s used, but works just like before. Thank you so much for all your help, and answering my questions.

Dealership charges a arm and Leg to repair, all I did was pulled the old one out and insert new one in my Volvo!! Works like a champ now I will go to Volvo Dealership and let them lock it in for me at a way cheaper cost! You can’t help but have a Win Win ending.

Dropped the shifter into L1 for better leverage...pulled straight up and it popped off...along with the console, but I was able to also lubricate the linkage. Put everything back in place, inserted the shift shaft, and gave the shift handle a good whack. It locked in place, I then fitted the boot collar and the job was completed. Probably a $250 dealer fix.

It installed very quickly. It is exactly what we needed. We have made several regional trips and it worked perfectly. Thank you!
