I ordered this belt for my 2008 VW GTI. Exactly 11 months and 28 days later the belt broke, resulting in 3,000$ worth of repairs. I was forced to buy a new motor after investigating what caused my car to break down. The timing belt broke causing the valves and pistons to collide. If you know anything about cars when this happens the motor is going to need a lot of time and money to reverse the damages caused and you are almost always better off buying a new motor. This belt is made cheap when compared to a name brand belt. If you are looking into replacing the timing belt as you should on time I recommend spending the extra money on a brand name belt. Do not put this belt into your car and if you already have I suggest going and getting it replaced with another belt before you are spending ... I ordered this belt for my 2008 VW GTI.
