Very good SSD for the money. Only 4 star because Adata does not have optimizing software for their SSD drives. Micron and Crucial have optimizing tools in their software free which will really speed up your read and write speeds. Also, difficult to register your SSD drive at Adata website. Therefore, your loose your warranty.

This did fit without any issues straight into my Apple Macbook Pro (2011). Comes in a nice box, well packaged. Huge difference in speed as compared to the traditional HD that was installed. Didn't need to add any spacers or foam - it did just perfectly fit. Had it for two weeks now running without any issues. Very satisfied so far. Best price for a 256GB SSD I could find. In the beginning, I thought I would need a dedicated Apple drive, but apparently almost any drive fits. For Apple computers, just format the drive (instructions are on youtube) and if you struggle with downloading the operational system (OS), just buy a bootable USB flashdrive with El Capitan, Sierra, or whatever you need, on ebay for $10.00 or so.
