I really gave it a lot of thought when I decided to buy a baby jogger. I am a runner and really wanted something sturdy that wouldnt let my toddler bop all over the place. I originally had a baby trend...which turned out to be garbage. It's fine if you are going to walk with it. But for running, it was really horrible. This babyjogger summit xc has the best shocks. I run on a boardwalk and then go on to the sidewalk and make quick sharp turns and it handles really well. The canopy was my number two reason for buying this stroller. Every other stroller's canopy doesnt go all the way down like an umbrella...the babyjogger does!! it is a really smooth ride, and sometimes I forget I am even pushing it. It's light and handles amazing.! The only thing that I can give it a thumbs down about is the fact that when the front wheel is locked into position, the stroller tends to go to the right and I have to use a lot of force to make it go straight. Maybe there is a trick to this, I dont know. But I just leave it on the rotating 360 degrees and run with it. It never once has gyrated or wobbled like that horrible baby trend did. If you are a runner, I absolutely recommend this. Save your money and buy this stroller, you will not be disappointed.Read full review
Overall I really like this stroller a lot. I had an older Jeep stroller that had seen better days so I wanted to upgrade. After speaking with friends about the Baby Jogger brand I found this stroller. It has everything I wanted from the shocks on all wheels to the hand brake. (I didn't have this on my Jeep and wish I did sometimes) It rides super smooth, even when moving quickly on uneven terrain. The only downfall I have found for this stroller is that the basket underneath the seat is not easy to access and is really too small to put anything except for small items in. I cannot put my smallish diaper bag in it, as it won't fit in through the side of the basket. I feel it would fit inside it, but I can't get it in. This is somewhat of a major downfall since I don't want to carry my diaper bag on a hike! It would be nice if it came with some extra's, like the front bar. Overall, however, I am very happy with this stroller and would recommend it!Read full review
