Games featuring licensed cartoon characters are not created for hardcore gamers. When I review this type of game, I assume that the audience is an elementary-school-age child. Therefore, I am most concerned if the game play is accessible for children. This game did a moderately good job of meeting this goal. There was more text than I'd like to see in a game with a demographic niche of probably girls in grade three or less. That's why my nephew was so annoyed... his sister (a precocious age 5) needed him to read things to her. Stuff about princesses and horsies... My gut instinct is that this game is a little too wordy for its target audience. However, a smart child at the top of the "Disney Princess" age demographic will enjoy this. It's a positive, goal-oriented, life-affirming, non-violent game with nice graphics for its GameBoy generation.Read full review
I bought this gameboy game for my daughter because she is starting to really get into video games. She loves how easy it is to understand without her being able to read directions in detail, after all she is only 5. From the time she opened it until now it is one of the games that she has to play. It is repetitious in it's gaming actions so they can catch on really quick. I would suggest this game to someone between the ages of 5 and 8 max. Anyone older may get bored but by that age they tastes start changing anyways.
Very Cute Game with clear graphics and goals. I bought this for a young child who does need a bit of assistance from time to time but overall the levels are simple and easy to maneuver. Some reading involved but not much. Very sweet clips of the Cinderella movie shown between levels. Overall, I am satisfied with this game and would recommend it for anyone who's a Cinderella fan and for an older 3 year old to adult depending on ability, likes, and skill level. It's a fun engaging game. Enjoy!
My daughter is 5 and likes to play this game. she really wanted this game so I bought it for a trip we were going on. I've played it more than her and it is a really fun game. She gets really bored with her gameboy and would rather play with her leapster. I just don't think she likes vidoe games as much as learing new things on her leapster.
Product as described, my 6 yo daughter loves it
