If your slide will not clear your middle knuckle this might be your slide. I actullay took a dial caliper to measure my knuck and was not easy to get accurate measure and I determined it was just under 1" This slide gas an ID of .875" or 7/8" and is a perfect fit. The wall thickness is .125" or 1/8" and for a Brass slide that is thick and it is a bit weighty. Compared to a mud slide it is not as fat but almost triple the weight.
