First thing I noticed is its bigger than the "Jr." Pedals. I don't see why it needs to be, but that's ok. The switch is on the left side of the pedal and is a little awkward to use, and not an instant quick kick, unless you want to break it. In any case, it does what it is designed for and does it well. Smooth swells. In the stereo pan mode, I figured the middle of the rocker would be loudest with both speakers playing and left or right would turn the other off, but instead, the middle they are half volume and it brings the left/right up and down simultaneously. Which is just how it was designed. I would recommend this pedal for its versatility as a stereo volume pedal if you have two amps, or just one, and don't mind the extra space on your board

pedal came wrapped meticulously, plenty of bubble and paper wrap to insulate during shipping; the downside being that since the coronavirus has struck, my work has evaporated; reading websites and word of mouth, work will not continue until 17 April 2020; this being said, I have NO way to use the pedal that I purchased for my work . . .

I own a few of different volume and effects pedals. This Ernie Ball is sturdy, and works like a charm for my pedal steel, and it's the pedal I use the most. I got it for a small price, and I consider myself lucky.
