You know for a front scratch plate set up these may work better but because of the reduntant push/pull pot and the timber hollow body with minimum room for the 3way selector in the top of the guitar in an ES style Gibson or even and SG, you can feed the switches through the channels from selector hole to past the pickups and into the potentiator cavity of a F-hole Lucielle style Gibson or Epiphone (copies/orig.). So the only and I mean this as in the 'best' way is the melt the solders off the 3-way switch feed all the wires through from the pot' cavity and resolder in the 3-way cavity above the neck position pickup. The only other way I could see to make it work was using the two way wire clip connectors like Phone companies used to use they are small and just clip the two wires together in a snap close adaptor so if you cut the wires in the right place just on the pot side of the bridge pickup cavity then you can reconect all the wires there. Mark each with coloured tape or something so you don't lose your spots. Otherwise the quality of the construction originally when this setup was sent was great an the switches and pots are all better quality then you get with the kit builds so if you want the thing soldered and set up with good quality components go ahead and grab these because it's still a great price for what they are. You may want to get your own orange drops to reduce impedance and copy from Jimmy Page style pot setup, make sure you use the copper or aluminium shielding tape otherwise you think the interference is coming form the components which is prob not true. Oky doke sorry I couldn't just be straight out positive.Read full review

These are 500 pots which have more power than the 250 pots used on Fender products. I am using the split shaft tone pots and one volume pot on a project guitar with a 9 V & 18 V selector switch. Good quality excellent price.
