I had one before and it was stolen, so I was thrilled to find the exact model on ebay for such a low price. It's easy to use, and what I like best is that the voice tells you when and where to turn - giving the name of the street, and even what lane to be in. As with all GPS devises, as I've been told, it sometimes takes me the longest way or the most expensive way, but when I'm lost that doesn't matter so much.
I bought the TomTom XL S a couple of days and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive GPS. The size is perfect for easy transferring from one car to the next. The battery has an okay lifespan of roughly 2 hours. If you do take out of your car to someone else make sure you take the car charger to power up. My only complaint is that there a lot of menus that could have possibly been combined. Overall, I'd recommend this particular GPS system if you're looking for a reliable driving companion!
I really enjoy this product, it is user friendly and gets the job done. It let's me know when stop lights and gas stations are coming up. It is small enough to store in my glove box, and it has clear sound. When you want a new destination you just click the map. This is exactly what I wanted, nothing fancy but still a great product. You can kind of tell it is an older product by the graphics but it still provides good direction and I tested it if I kept driving straight when it says to turn it only takes about two seconds to recalculate.
It does what it needs to do.

Don't bother with this out-of-date piece of crap. Doesn't work even after you update on the computer never finds GPS signal even when the sky is clear in the middle of a large city.
