The Estes Spaceship One "E" Version
The best looking kit ever produced by Estes has a couple of major flaws. 1 - The foam material dents easily. I am going to use Testors Foam Safe Spray Paint as recommended in the EMRR Rocket Reviews. That should help toughen the foam. Just one coat to save weight. 2 - The EMRR Review says the Tail Booms flutter quite a bit during climbout. I am going to add Carbon Fiber Rods to stiffen them, while saving weight. Then, a swing test will be performed because the center of gravity will likely change. I feel the Estes Spaceship One E Version is a great kit that needed a little more time on the drawing board.
