I started out with a Flying V guitar so the smaller size is exactly what I was looking for, a little bigger than I expected tbh, the guitars shape and color were better than I expected, and it came a week early. It came with a couple loose screws but nothing damaging. Didn’t need anything but to be tuned and it is great out of the box:) there are small damages that I don’t mind, for the price I don’t think it could be beat

Nice feel and weight for a student guitar. Even with bridge fully adjusted to limits I could not get the string intonation right and had to settle for it go go a bit sharp... This lead to the guitar being less then perfect.

Keep in mind the price, I build some guitars from parts, paid more for some necks than this guitar. Tone and electrics match some guitars costing 2-3X this amount. Guitar arrived with the action low and well intonated and packed well enough there was no damage at all. It's small, think 2/3-3/4 scale compared to a Strat. A good guitar for kids, smaller adults, or just to have when you want to play something compact and light. I've got a couple Strat type guitars, a nice acoustic, a few others, still like picking this up to play. No, it's no Made in America Strat but no regrets on this one. Cigar box guitar in pic for size comparison.

So I've been playing guitar for over 15 years now, and I've played my share of cheap guitars and my share of more expensive ones as well. And I own a lot myself. So I'm definitely not new to the music/guitar arena. With that said... This guitar (for the money) is great! Yes it needs a little love at first. Like oil on the neck, steal wool on the frets, and new strings. I even had to lower the pickups on mine they were just way to high. And I few other real minor things, which I've even done one $700-$800 guitars over the years. Now this little thing is great for what it is. NO, it's not as good at one of the more costly guitars. Not even really close. BUT, it is every bit as good as a $150-$200, maybe even some $300-$400 guitars. Do keep is mind this is a smaller guitar. 3/4 of a normal size infact. But I still think it plays great and I'm 6 feet tall. All in all I think Mitchell hit this one on the head. They produced a well rounded, good playing guitar for next to nothing. And at this price point I couldn't ask for more. Read full review

In this weird times of COVID 19, I wanted to get in touch with my little kid again and after many moons of not playing guitar, and many months ago I started doing research about what kind of guitar I wanted to play again. Having a little budget this guitar made my day. Came in great condition, very easy to play, a little bit smaller off what I am used to ... but it works just fine. This guitar packs a punch compared to other brands... a great guitar to start all over again playing at a great price...
