I'm an avid scale model builder and I've done several of these 3D puzzles. This one is highly-detailed and very challenging (not impossible), but the main problems are the superstructure & final assembly of the hull. The ship's superstructure is completed before it's attached to the deck, and it's quite easy to bend/snap-off a couple of the smaller guns while you're holding it. The hull is a bigger issue: the left and right sides are not quite long enough, so when you wrap them around the main deck and try to line up the tabs, the hull will naturally pull the deck upwards and the deck becomes *CURVED* (like a banana). I still haven't been able to get the bow & stern tabs to connect to each other. If they had only been a couple millimeters longer it would have been fine, but as it stands you practically need the stars to align in order to get the tabs to line up without any problems.Read full review

This is a nice little kit. Could be larger and metal could be slightly thicker. The fragile tower includes extra parts in case you break it. I didn't realize until after I used glue on mine and was too far forward in the project to dissassemble. Hull is also very stiff and hard to shape on the ends which needs to be done. Not as rewarding or beautiful as the Piececool kits (the upscale sub-brand of Metal Earth/Fascinations)

ON A DIFFICULTY SCALE OF 1 TO 10 THIS IS ABOUT A 9 FOR 3D LASER CUT MODELS. WELL WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT WHEN FINISHED THOUGH.
