Great great camera for it's size and price I use it for my YouTube channel. MIC and head phone line easy to use touch screen with plenty of settings I would recommend
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Bought this right before the holidays to replace an old mini-tape recorder. I did not have time to read the user guide, and was able to easily figure out how to take movies. Sounds and picture quality was very good. Love the small size. Note that this does not come with a battery charger -- the battery needs to be attached to the camera and the entire unit plugged into an A/C adapter in order to charge. Also note that the recording indicator is counter-intuitive -- the light is red when recording and green when not recording.
It was used but a great used price! Perfect condition and works great!! I researched many cameras and this one had all the features I wanted and for the price (used) it was a great buy. I don't think I could have forked out $800 for a new one. The used one works perfectly. The touch screen does take some getting used to because you do have to apply some pressure to it...
I bought this camcorder to replace my old Sony TRV95 Hi8 recorder. It is like night and day. The size of the camera and what it delivers is amazing. When you plug into your HD TV to play back a recorded video you will be awe-struck at the high definition quality. My first response was "I'm that old?" The only recommendation I would make if you purchase this camera is to purchase an "L Bracket" that attaches to the base of the camera (where a tripod would go via thumbscrew) to separate you palm for the actual camera. This will minimize shaking and cut down on noise caused by your hand being in contact with camera.
The camera is very compact and easy to use. A lot of memory and long battery life. I have used it for sporting events and it has worked very well.
