When I first received this guitar I thought it looked pretty cool but plays just ok. Not sure if it’s a break in thing or just getting used to an older type model. I play a Jackson USA RR1. Now it’s the guitar I first pick up. The punch harmonics are much easier and quicker on this guitar. Especially when you hit them down by the one true pickup. It actually stays in tune better or as good as my jackson. I do wish it were made in the US but I guess it would indeed cost two or three times the price. I am afraid of changing the strong I want to keep it exactly as is. I also think it should come with a case. I purchased the EVH case and waiting for it. I think a recent fender case should be ok as well since it’s a strat.

Don't know what the real one feels like to play but my guitar is sweet! Totally broken in feeling with great action and jumbo frets. She's a beaut and beast at the same time! Had to add the '71 quarter and truck reflectors to make it the tribute to the awesome innovation in the original. I was reflecting on the year that had elapsed since his passing and came across the posting for the guitar exactly a year to the day. RIP EVH, and thanks for all the music!
