I bought this for my Grand daughter. I asked her if I bought this if she would carry it and she does and she feels safer. I told her to always know where it is and the handle keeps her grip on it and it would be harder to drop or knocked out of your hand. She surprised me as she told me she shot it at a tree and she knows how far it will shoot. I'm going to get a couple more for her.

Thankfully, my wife can't report how effective the pepper spray is because no one has attacked her. Let's hope she can never report its effectiveness! As for the Velcro hand mount, it fits her hand very well and makes reaching the release button very easy with her thumb. If you ask me, this is the only sensible type of set-up.
