Highly recommend to buy the software from above retailer for such a low price of £5.99 otherwise buying direct from McAfee is nearly £60 a rip off. I had allowed my subscription to expire due to high price but the EBay Retailer came to my rescue for such a very fantastic price. Was easy to online install and thank EBay for the same. Been EBay shopper since 2006 and never had any sort of issue with money or quality eBay always Excellent so also the Sellers

As an existing McAfee 3 PC user this should have been a simple update. In the past using this kind of product I've logged into my account, entered the product key, and the existing subscription has been suspended. This one created a new subscription that I had to download from. This involves uninstalling the old product (leaving you vulnerable) and re-installing. First PC took 5 attempts for the re-install, involving lots of McAFee Virtual Mechanic stuff, and only worked after I used a registry cleaner to remove all trace of McAfee from the PC. It then showed that it was installed on 1/1 PCs implying it was not a 3 user product. Second PC it did install on (now installed on 2/1 PCs). This also took 5 attempts but via a different set of weird things going on. Again involved a Registry clean. Third PC (you guessed it, now on 3/1 PCs) followed another unique pattern but only took 3 attempts. Should point out that all 3 PCs are the same make and have the same OS. As I started this a few days before the original subscription expired I've lost a few days (remember it did not add on to the existing subscription as previous updates have). Open the application and the screens are different. Not so intuitive and missing a lot of the previous features. It hums away in the corner and doesn't seem any different PC performance wise but seems to be in "cannot open as updates are taking place" mode very frequently. People have been telling me for years to ditch McAfee. This experience may be the one that makes me follow their adviceRead full review

I use this on Windows 10, it uses hardly any resources but protects the computer with as little or as much intervention as a user wants. You can set and forget it, or you can alter every single setting to customise it to stop a program connecting to the internet for example. I wouldn't say the incoming malicious connection attempts were accurate as it can confuse normal internet traffic depending on how the program is set to respond to "ping" for example. I stopped using Kaspersky in favour of McAfee. With this dealI can also use it on my andrid phone, another laptop and a standalone computer. Good value for money. It does everything the other antivirus programs can, including scan website and email. It is definitely faster on an i5 processor than Kaspersky. I would recommend it. On Android phones it can almost do what CCleaner can and clear out junk and old files, plus it can scan web sites, emails and text messages and even block incoming phone numbers! You add a number and it will never make the phone ring, it can block text messages too. So a very handly program to have. Works on almost any device you can think of for a great price.Read full review

What can you say it's very good at preventing viruses, malware with a good solid firewall, and I have stayed with McAfee because I know that my system is very well protected. I have used Panda, Norton, etc, in the past and they are good at detecting during a scheduled scan of the system, but fail miserably to prevent them actually infecting your system while browsing, etc.

Second year that I have used McAfee, swapped from Norton which is too costly. It is invisible in that I don't know how it protects , but there have been no virus incidents so presumably it is working !! Comes as a long code word that you input, then it sorts itself out. No CD disc as it used to be. Cheaper this year than last. Easy to install ( and de-installs last years version automatically). . When in use comes up with clear messages and descriptions of what it is doing. Is preset to scan regularly or you can ask it to. Doesn't affect the Microsoft protection that I have with Windows 10. All in all a great buy, even scores well with the comparison tests.
