Was a Netgear fan for years, but last couple routers were nothing but trouble. Could not count on them. Checked around and TP Link was getting good reviews so grabbed this one. So far I am very happy with this router, plus it has so many great features. Slight disappointment, the WiFI is not much stronger than the previous netgear. Not a huge deal, just was hoping it would be better in that respect. Maybe if it had bigger antennas. Would still recommend, it's been an awesome router.

My Netgear R6400 was giving me trouble, dropping out, losing range, etc., so after looking for an AX router to replace it I decided on this TPLink. Honestly, I picked it for the looks. It goes with my setup, but I am totally pleased with the performance improvements over my 4 year old Netgear. The range on this thing is fantastic. I'm getting buffer-free connections to my IP cameras in the barn 120 feet from the house. My Ring Floodlight Cam works in live view mode for the first time ever. I didn't purchase this Router for network file sharing, but I hooked up a 3 TB MyBook and now easily share all my old music files with all of my devices without having to use up native space. Setup was the easiest I've ever experienced with a router. Everything just worked within minutes. I made a few port forwards to my older cameras and a few other tweaks from the advanced mode and it's been smooth sailing from there.Read full review

I had, during the last several years, the chance to try in my home-office and home several AC (and now an AX) routers. Some where mediocre - worked almost by the book, some where awfull (linksys - their high end are bags of bugs). I have 2 TP-Link - an AC V2600 (VDSL modem+Router) very good and reliable and now the AX6000. The AX6000 is a powerfull router & switch, easy to set-up, fast and covers a 200 sqm house on 2 levels with hard walls and I get it even in car parked on street. Both the local setting and the tethered setting throughh a phone app work excellent.

If you are needing a wide reaching wifi router look no further. With a max throughput of just under 6Gb/s this thing is fast. I am getting higher speeds from all my wireless devices and can connect upto 8 devices via cable. If you have a security system, a server, video game consoles and your current wifi router falls short this one is for you.

I replaced current Netgear router which after 8 years was experiencing problems and not able to provide coverage for my 3100 square footage. The 6000 provided coverage and was extremely easy to set up. I have a shed about 100 feet from the house. To include the shed in coverage, I installed a TP Extender. It works GREAT. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE ROUTER
