We love Microsoft Office. There is no need to buy the full scale one. It does everything I need for my business and more than I need for my house. I use it on my work laptop. I had to purchase a new laptop and thus this Microsoft Office in case I have to quarantine due to Covid!

It worked well until 3 months later now and it’s letting me only use Office in view-only mode and is telling me I need to activate my subscription. I have already thrown the packaging and code away at this point so I’m screwed out of $100 and have to buy it from Microsoft.

The newest Mac operating system, OS 10.15, is not compatible with older versions of Office. So I decided to update to a newer version. But Microsoft, along with Adobe & others, has decided to make Office a "subscription" based product. That means you have to pay a monthly rental to use it. I object to that approach. This version of Office is standalone - one-time purchase. I was skeptical that it would really work, but it seems to work fine. The instructions say to uninstall previous versions of office, but I didn't want to do that in case this version did not work. So I left office 2011 & 2016 in place. 2011 is really obsolescent & doesn't work anymore. 2016 still seems to work. Note that I have NOT yet installed OS 10.15 because I have been told it will break a lot of other apps too.Read full review
