I would probably say the technology is still in its youth stages throughout the market but, this is the most advanced I have used. As you can imagine, it's kind of bulky, heavy on the head but, that's the available technology. I do wish the head straps had better adjustability because it is difficult to get the positioning just right to a point where all the weight doesn't just sit on the bridge of the nose or press to hard on the eyes. So far, and maybe I am doing something wrong, it seems like it's one or the other. Not conducive to prolonged use. Although I haven't been able to even locate where I can watch a full-length 3D feature film, I can't imagine being able to watch it in its entirety with the headset. I imagine that would cause a migraine because after about 30 minute of constant use exploring, I got a headache. Maybe coincidence, I don't know. Now, other than that, resolution is incredible. All that is left is for technology, such as games and movies, to advance where there is as much available material to immerse yourself into as there is with XBox or PlayStation. I do recommend the product. It is great and works well with what exists to use it with. Only thing I noticed that was kind of a let down was this. When I was trying to watch a 3D YouTube video, the headset would not position the viewing area in a way where I could put my body in a more comfortable position. Basically, you must be sitting in an upright position. I turned the video on and tried to lay down to watch, be more comfortable but the viewing area couldn't be adjusted properly no matter what I tried. That was disappointing. Maybe it is just YouTube 3D, that part, I don't know. It is possible when I DO manage to find and figure out how to view a full-length film I will find I can lay on my back in bed and watch. If not, I can't see how I could manage to watch a 90-120 minute movie just sitting upright the entire time without moving.Read full review
