I have had one of these for years on my old computer. I used it with media center on Windows XP. I am able to watch over the air channels and video from a DVR or VCR by using the coax input on the card. I have converted a lot of my old VHS tapes to DVD using the Power director program and the tv card. This card has all the features of my old card but unfortunately it would not fit any of the card slots of my new computer which I bought it for. The card works very well but make sure you have the correct card slot in your computer before you buy because once you break the seal on the card package they won't take it back.

For the price, is is an excellent device, Easy to install and setup. You will need software to run such as WinTV 10 about ($13). The only thing I noticed was an occasional momentary pause, but that could be because of the computer.Yes, it is a good product, does everything I wanted it to do.

Despite its age, still fully supported under Windows 10. Using it with NextPVR on my cable system's ClearQAM and it's been pretty bulletproof so far. The only thing I could have wished for is more tuners, but I knew this was a one-tuner device going in. Definitely recommended for those who only need to record one program at a time.

This card works great on Linux/MythTV. I installed it as a replacement for my old card (HVR-1250), which failed after 10 years of use. (Note: The 1600 requires a full PCI slot, not just PCI-e. Make sure you have one.) I have the card hooked up to a big antenna in my attic, and it pulls in a lot of TV stations. I could not be happier with this purchase.
