If you're looking for an inexpensive keyboard, look no further. I took half a star off because the backspace key isn't the double wide version a lot of people are used to, it's just a single keycap like any of the other letters. I had an instance in adjusting to the key where I accidentally hit the insert button next to it by mistake, and started typing over my own review xD Another thing I'll take half a star off for is the reflective finish on the keys. If you're just learning to type and have to look down often, they might present a little more glare than what you'd like. I fully expect this "newness" to fade off after a few weeks of use, but presently, if the light catches them at an angle, the glare obscures your view of the keys. Besides all that, I appreciate the design. It has a nice solid black color, and as far as everyday use goes.. The keystrokes are responsive, soft but not too mushy. They're quieter than my old keyboard too. If you're looking for a super low budget keyboard, I'd recommend this over the 6 dollar one from Walmart. I've tried both and this one, while not perfect, is clearly superior. PS: Remember, its PS/2, not USB.Read full review

This keyboard will work on any operating system. I used this for Windows 98SE and it works like a dream (even though the devil the adversary wants you to dream). This works on my year 2000 Compaq Presario 5BW131 5000 Series. Any computer that has a PS/2 port like this will work. Any operating system that you have will work with this computer. Plus the look looks professional and not poor quality like HP, ASUS, Acer, Compaq, Gateway, and the other Bildeberg stupidity like that. Overall this keyboard will work on any computer that has any operating system and any computer that has a PS/2 port available.

Was looking for the cheapest new PS/2 keyboard I could get for a simple project with old hardware that was not accepting other keyboards adapted to PS/2. Overall I'm satisfied with this keyboard. I wish the spacebar didn't affect the shape of the bottom and would be more comfortable with a thicker wire to the plug, but I can't complain–the product picture was accurate.

I needed a PS/2 keyboard to program a controller. (I tried an adapter, but it wouldn't work.) Picked this one up for less than ten. Plugged it in and finished my chore. Now, I'll have a reliable way to program this thing as I go along. Great!
