Just received the O.W.C. Hub, looks great works great my only real concern is the heat generated in the thunderbolt port! I shut off laptop and unplugged the thunderbolt cable and I couldn’t really touch the end because of the amount of heat it had. I invested nearly $200 for this hub and I’m hoping it doesn’t fail in a few weeks or months! Can’t say for certain if I would recommend this to anyone yet. I need to give it a few weeks to see how it performs with the hot thunderbolt port.

This dock performs well. Te USB ports in my Mac mini occasional give an error that they are drawing too much current, so have been shut off. I've seen this error from a couple of Macs, but it is not substantiated if I put one of the small USB voltage/current monitors in line with the only USB device attached. The Docking station provides multiple USB ports for external devices in ddition to an added HDMI port,added RJ-45 port, etc. It makes the Mac Mini much more useful with the varios peripherls I have acymulated over the years :-)
