This futuristic first-person shooter from the makers of Unreal Tournament puts players in the role of a down-and-out medical researcher named Jack Mason, whose spacecraft has crash-landed. He survives the crash, along with his only remaining patient, an incarcerated test subject called "Katrina J." who was exposed to an experimental drug that killed all her male counterparts. The two find themselves far from civilization, alone on the surface of one of the most notorious prison planets known to humankind: Earth.<br><br>Luckily, the two unlikely heroes have access to an arsenal of sci-fi weaponry, which can be equipped with custom upgrades. "Energy cores" can be found throughout the game world, and used to add more power and new abilities to weapons and other equipment, as the player sees fit. Mason and his "prisoner" will also commandeer vehicles to help them move around the overgrown wilderness of the planet's surface. Although designed to offer lots of run-and-gun shooter action, the game's levels include vehicle-based and adventure-puzzle challenges as well.<br><br>Along with the full-fledged single-player campaign, Pariah also offers a number of multiplayer modes and options. Traditional match types such as "Capture the Flag," "Deathmatch," and "Team Deathmatch" are available, along with a "Front Line Assault" mode, and the game comes with integrated editing tools that allow players to design and share their own maps.

    Fun old school FPS

    In the mold of Halo, Pariah borrows heavily from the king of that time while adding some neat features of it's own, fun weapons, and a great health system. The sound and graphics are good, but the level design leaves a bit to be desired. To me, the story is neither here nor there, that's not why I'm playing it.

    Pariah for XBox

    Overall this game has great moving and shooting. A player can be cought up in this game for hours learning the different ways to go around throughout the game. Visual effects are great and there can be a few tough areas to get through, but overall this game is a great shooter game for those that enjoy taking it to the Alien life forms. I rate this as a 4 because I will never give a 5 out of 5 for any game. If you buy this game you will not be dissappointed with the playing. ease of controls and a wild ride awaits you with Pariah. This is by no means Halo 1 or 2 but it does has the same kind of movement. those that like Halo will like this also. Anyone buying this game will not be dissappointed with the buy

    PARIAH

    I don't know where this little ditty has been hiding but I sure am glad I found it!!! If you can't afford the 360 right now and are looking for something new for your Xbox...This is It....The gaming description doesn't do it justice... You are immersed in vast and detailed environments...Given excellent weapons with awesome upgrades...The feel is much like "HALO"...In fact, I believe it's using the same engine, or something very similar... Enemies are everywhere in this FPS...Vehicles galor...All with different and deadly capabilities... Find yourself a copy of this baby, if you haven't played it, you'll be glad you did!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR....dmm

    A great game revisited!

    I enjoyed this game on my Xbox, but when it died I got rid of the games. I recently found out that "Pariah" was one of the games playable on my Xbox 360. Had to replace it & this was the best deal I saw. Glad to have made the purchase! Consider it a "Halo Lite", but still a nice challenge!
