This is the first tablet I have ever owned. I purchased it to give me a little more convenience for work and reading. With all the grandkids activities I do a lot of sitting and waiting so it's nice to have a book at hand. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure this would be the right tablet for me since the major complaint seemed to be the poor visual field for the screen. Well this is what I found: Adjust the brightness and change the background, that's all it took and boom you can see the entire screen from multiple angles. The video I watched on eBay had a reviewer that stated this unit does not have an SD slot. In fact it DOES have a hidden SD slot beneath the plate that sets over the camera. I like the SD card having protection where it can not be easily seen. What this tablet does not have is a USB port which I easily solved with the USB OTG adaptor. Over all I found this tablet to have everything I need and then some. The graphics are wonderful, the 9inch screen size is perfect for granny eyes =) and it has a nice speed to it. Downsides to this tablet: Well I would have to say the slow start might as well brush your teeth or do something else till all the Lenovo logos are finished with. Also when you first start working with it the response is slow but a few minutes and it runs quite quick and smooth. I guess one could consider the weight on the heavy side compared to new tablets but if you compare it to the diaper bag, woman's purse and/or granny bag its as light as a feather. I love this little tablet and am very happy I chose to purchase it. Over all I purchased the tablet on eBay for 105.00, a 32gb sd card for 16.00 on eBay, and the USBOTG cable for 1.11 on eBay. This adds up to 122.11. Compared to BestBuy price which is 250.00 I got a bargain on a great tablet.Read full review
I'm very pleased with the overall performance of this tablet. I previously had purchased a cheap 7" tablet and was very frustrated with the performance. But, this tablet renewed my faith in the usefulness and functionality of tablets generally. It does take about a minute to boot up but this really isn't a problem. The speed and reliability are great. It is heavier than my wife's larger Asus tablet, but I feel like this Lenovo tablet is much sturdier, and not so fragile. I highly recommend this tablet.
I purchased this lenovo after a few disappointing purchases of " budget" tablets. I needed a tablet that is dependable,fast,easy to operate,with excellent WiFi (gift to my elderly Mom). This tablet provided all that and more. Mom loves the crystal clear crisp display that makes it easy for her to read her ebooks. She's happy, I'm very happy!
I'm really enjoying my Lenovo 9in. tablet. It has great resolution and battery life. I would definitely purchase again.
