If the first Virtual Villagers left you wanting more, this is for you. If you haven't played the first, these are like mini RPG/Sims. You are responsible for the successful lives of your tribes. Lost Children even deals with an enviornmental disaster for your little tribe. You are responsible for managing a population with limited natural resources & training your people in the skills needed for survival. Not much meatier than the first, but still pleasantly addictive. In this one, you have the added challenge of making some of your villagers master elders by training them to mastery in 3 or more skills. I love this game when nothing is on TV and I am too tired to read. Just a pleasant little diversion, nothing intense, demanding or meaty, but it is still rather addictive. Dont pay alot for it. This game is available inexpensively and is great for kids too.Read full review
I enjoyed this game. Im sure its meant to be aimed more to children. But I enjoyed it too. The game cotinues playing after you switch of the computer. Unless its in pause mode. So if your brave enough to leave it running. you never know whats going to happen when you go back on. Can be a bit slow though. I think it is great if you dont have a lot of time to spend playing, because you can leave it to run and come back later. Once running even my five year old can enjoy it.
I think it's a very addictive game simular to the Sim's but located on a iland. My biggest complaint is that if You decide to quit playing for awhile the Game continue's in the background without You.If You dont go back to the Game often the Children tend to Die as do the older indavidule's.Which means You could come back to Your village to find nobody is allive & You failed in the game. The overall basic's are to teach the children all of life's basic rule's to Farm,Gather Food, have relationships,& to Research. It's a very Nice Game but not one You can stop playing for more than a Day.It must be played constantly on a Daily basis or the worst possible things could happen:Starvation,Desiese & Death. Its also very confusing as to what it is You need to do & How to do it.Not much in clues as to what is expected to be done after teaching them the basic's of survival. It also seem's they Unable to survive without Your constant help.It appears that they cannot become independant indavidual's & remember How to survive on the island. I very much like Role Playing Game's but for this one You have to Play it constantly & it's very confusing not the type I recomend Unless You tend to Play till the game is over.I wasnt that impressed that You cant stop playing it for more than a Day.Read full review
